Zoe Wirth

Zoe Wirth is a sincere and spirited yoga teacher based in Los Angeles, originally from Florida, and in her heart calls Miami Beach her home. Integrating joy into yoga practice is her main focus. After working for years in the fast-paced fashion industry as a stylist, Zoe found peace through yoga, eventually making the shift into full time yogi after completing her RYT at White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara California.

With a naturally curious mind, Zoe is an eager student, consistently sharing new things she’s gathered along the way. She is known for integrating humor into her class, while holding a meditative space where students can connect to their physical bodies from an internal experience. “What I love the most about yoga is that it’s boundless, no real goal or end game, this notion takes a lot of the pressure off, finding fun and freedom in practice; I take my classes to a place where if you fall, you fall with a smile-but watch your teeth.”

JQ Williams

JQ Williams is a warm and energetic teacher. Expect to learn a lot about anatomy and body mechanics under her teaching while she takes you on a journey of free expression through body and spirit. She is a certified 500 E RYT, who owns a studio in Saint Paul Minnesota and travels teaching nation-wide.

“Yoga came to me after I severely injured my back pole vaulting. In truth, my practice was more or less just stretching at first, but after a soundbath induced my first meditative state, I knew I had stumbled on something much bigger than healing a physical wound. My goal as a teacher is to help you take ownership over your body, and your life. My classes are always set to build on one another leaving you with a trail of learning connecting where you were to where you have arrived. Life is always a journey, and I’m so honored to be part of my students’ paths.”

Our eleven private bungalows are the perfect antidote to the chaos of everyday life. Each unique bungalow is dedicated to one of the values that we hold in the highest regard. Authenticity was imperative in the construction of every inch of Present Moment. Thus, all bungalows have an indigenous palapa thatched roof, hand-crafted in the Mexican tradition, and are furnished with a pillow top queen-sized bed, luxurious 400 count cotton bedding and a canopy of white linen. Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 1pm. Guests can stay with us longer if they wish to depart later in the afternoon and we will keep your bags safe.

At the heart of charming Troncones Beach, nestled between the lush mountains of the Sierra Madre and the sparkling Mexican Riviera, Present Moment Retreat combines the ambience of nature’s grandeur with personally challenging mind-body work, set in harmony on beautifully-landscaped tropical grounds.

Troncones Beach is a small, recently-developed community situated on some 3 miles of pristine Pacific beach – a strand of white sand punctuated by occasional rock outcroppings often harboring tidepools teeming with fascinating saltwater life. The charming village is home to a small school, a public library (donated by generous local residents for education of the village’s children), a church, several dry goods outlets, and a few other small provisioning services for essential items. All of these are couched within a traditional and tropical Mexican ambience.

You can fly into Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa International airport (ZIH) and take a taxi or shuttle to Troncones.  The drive is about 40 minutes.  We can assist you with booking all flights and airport transportation.  We recommend arriving by mid-day on the 12th or arriving a day early if you want to explore the town and get settled in!

Airport transfer each way is around $45.
