Reformer Training Portugal 2027
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Reformer Pilates Teacher Training with Roz Evans at Casas na Ferraria, Portugal, 8–15 June 2027.
1. Booking as an Agreement
By booking a place on the Reformer Pilates Teacher Training with Roz Evans (the "Training"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to the Training details on the Revamp Retreats website. If you book for more than one person, everyone in your booking is considered to have agreed to these terms.
2. Trainee Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable. Part of your deposit is used straight away to enrol you with Pilates Education Australia (PEA) and open your online theory access, so the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable in all circumstances.
If you cancel 90 or more days before the Training starts, you may transfer your payments, excluding the deposit, to another Revamp Retreats program valid for one year, subject to any price difference and a $50 fee. If you cancel within 90 days of the start date, or leave during the Training, no transfer or refund will be given.
3. Cancellation by Revamp Retreats
Revamp Retreats may cancel the Training, or any part of it, at any time. If we cancel, you will receive retreat credit valid for two years rather than a cash refund. Revamp Retreats is not responsible for any money you lose on flights, accommodation or other travel arrangements, so we strongly recommend cancel-for-any-reason travel insurance.
4. Training Requirements and Certification
No prior teaching experience is required. We recommend you have completed at least 20 reformer classes before booking. Bookings close one month before the Training starts, so every trainee has time to complete the online theory and receive their course manuals.
The online theory must be completed before the Training begins. It is your responsibility to complete it in time.
The Training and certification are delivered by Roz Evans (SOHL Studio) in partnership with Pilates Education Australia. The qualification is internationally recognised, approved by the Pilates Association Australia (PAA) and accepted by AUSactive for continuing education credits. You will receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the in-person Training. Full certification requires completing the online theory, the in-person Training, 125 hours of self-mastery, observation and assistant teaching, and a final assessment. You will need access to a reformer to complete your hours after the Training.
All questions and support relating to the online theory, your hours, assessment and certification are handled by Roz's team at hello@sohlbyroz.com. Revamp Retreats does not issue certification and cannot guarantee completion, which depends on you meeting the assessment requirements.
5. Passports, Visas and Flights
You are responsible for your own passport, visas and any other travel documents. Your passport may need to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. You are also responsible for booking your own flights. The Training begins on the first day, so please plan to arrive by mid to late morning on the start date. Revamp Retreats is not liable if you are refused entry or miss part of the Training because of incorrect documents or travel delays, and no refund will be given.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend cancel-for-any-reason travel insurance. Revamp Retreats does not sell travel insurance. You are fully responsible for any financial loss from cancellations, delays, illness or injury.
7. Room Sharing
If you book a shared room as a solo traveller, we will match you with another trainee where possible. If no roommate is available, you may be required to upgrade to a private room, and we will give you as much notice as possible. Room and house assignments are made by Revamp Retreats.
Sharing a room means sharing space with someone whose habits and schedule may differ from yours. Revamp Retreats is not responsible for personal differences or incompatibility between roommates, and these are not grounds for a refund, credit, or free room change. If you’d like to move, we’ll do our best to help, subject to availability and the applicable upgrade fee. Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Any behaviour that breaches our Code of Conduct or affects another guest’s safety will be handled by our team in line with that policy.
8. Training Schedule and Activities
Training days are full days. What is included and not included is listed on the Training page. Optional activities and add-ons, such as massage, are not covered by these terms, and help from third parties in arranging them does not make Revamp Retreats liable. The schedule, activities and venue arrangements may change.
9. Discretion to Deny Bookings
Revamp Retreats may decline any booking before the Training starts. In that case, you will receive a full refund or retreat credit, at our discretion.
10. Photography and Videography
Photos and video taken during the Training may be used by Revamp Retreats and Roz Evans for marketing, without royalties.
11. Health and Fitness to Train
The Training involves full, physically demanding days. By booking, you confirm you are in good health, able to take part in the Training and able to care for yourself. Please consult your doctor before booking, check any recommended vaccinations for your destination, and tell us about any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or postpartum recovery so Roz can support you safely.
12. Assumption of Risk
You understand that travel and physical training carry risks, including injury, illness and, in rare cases, death, and that medical care may be limited in some locations. You accept these risks. You accept financial responsibility for any injury or damage you cause, agree to cover legal costs if enforcement is needed, and agree to indemnify Revamp Retreats and its partners for any negligent or intentional acts on your part.
13. Limitation of Liability and Release
Revamp Retreats, its affiliates, Roz Evans and SOHL Studio are not liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage arising from the Training, including those caused by third-party operators, other parties or events beyond our control. You release Revamp Retreats from related claims and accept both known and unknown risks.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is used to run the Training and may be used for marketing. To enrol you and provide your online access and certification, your details will be shared with Roz Evans, SOHL Studio and Pilates Education Australia, as well as service providers who support the Training.
15. Food Allergies
We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. You release Revamp Retreats from liability for any exposure to allergens or allergic reactions.
16. Updating of Terms and Conditions
Revamp Retreats may update these terms at any time. The version published on our website replaces all earlier versions.
Guest Code of Conduct
Our retreats work because everyone shows up ready to train, rest, and share space well. By booking, you agree to the following.
Respect
Treat fellow guests, teachers, venue staff, and our team with courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, or intimidating behaviour of any kind won’t be tolerated.
Shared rooms
Sharing a room means adapting to someone else’s habits and schedule. Keep shared spaces tidy, keep noise down, and be considerate about lights, alarms, and bathroom time. Roommates are expected to sort out day-to-day differences between themselves. Our team will only step in where there’s a safety concern or a breach of this Code.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours run from 10pm to 7am so everyone can rest before morning sessions.
Alcohol
Drink responsibly. Guests who are visibly intoxicated may be asked to sit out a class, excursion, or activity for their own safety.
Health and safety
Tell us about any injury, condition, or allergy before arrival. Follow your teacher’s guidance during sessions, and let us know straight away if you feel unwell or unsafe.
Venue and property
Respect the venue, equipment, and other guests’ belongings. Guests are responsible for the cost of any damage they cause.
If something goes wrong
Report any concern to the retreat leader or our team as soon as it happens, and we’ll step in.
Breaches
If a guest seriously or repeatedly breaches this Code, Revamp Retreats may ask them to leave the retreat. In that case, no refund or credit will be given, and the guest is responsible for their own onward travel and accommodation.
Waiver
By booking, you release Revamp Retreats from claims for injury or damage arising from your participation in the Training, and confirm you are physically and emotionally fit to take part. You are responsible for your own wellbeing and must follow all safety instructions. Revamp Retreats is not a licensed medical provider, and you should consult your doctor with any health questions. Revamp Retreats may decline or remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, without a refund, and is not responsible for trainees who leave early or take part in unscheduled activities. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.
